Characters from your photos
Add a photo of a person, a pet or a favourite object, and TuckJoy draws them as a hero. The photo is deleted as soon as the character is made.
How it works
- Add a photo of the person, pet or object you want in your story.
- TuckJoy draws them once, as a character.
- The photo is deleted as soon as the character is made.
- Every page of your book is drawn from that character.
Our Privacy Policy says exactly what is kept and for how long.
What the pages look like
We never show customers' photos or books. These are pages from one of TuckJoy's own books, drawn from its ready-made heroes in the same way a hero from your photo is drawn:

Drawn by TuckJoy: pages from The Rainy Saturday Adventure, one of TuckJoy's own books, free to read.
Questions
What happens to my photo?
It is used to make your character, then deleted. Every page of your book is drawn from the character drawing, not from the photo. TuckJoy doesn't sell photos and doesn't use them to train AI.
How many characters can I make from photos?
Your free book has one hero. A paid book can make up to 3 new heroes from photos, free, and bring back any hero already on your account.
Can I upload a photo of a child?
Only if you are their parent or legal guardian, or have that person's permission. You must be 18 or over to use TuckJoy.
Do I need a photo?
No. You can pick one of TuckJoy's ready-made heroes instead.
TuckJoy is for anyone making something illustrated: bedtime stories and family keepsakes, gifts for a birthday or an anniversary, comics, cards, invitations and brochures.
